Chocolate Bar by Too Faced review

Wow. To finally have my dirty little hands on this pallet is a dream come true!
After many months of researching and adding this product to my cart and then removing it again after again, I BOUGHT IT!

I was so over the moon with the service I received at Mecca the day I bought this. I was caught up between purchasing this pallet, the Stila Soul pallet, and the Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette from Sephora. The assistant explained all the major differences to help make my decision easier, including the downsides to all the products, which not all sales assistants are honest enough to do. All of the staff were just incredibly helpful with all my 100 questions, and I couldn’t rate their Melbourne Central store enough
The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette is one of Mecca’s most popular products, and what makes this product so special is that it actually smells like chocolate. It is just gorgeous. The packaging, the colours, the pigment, the smell, the mirror.. ahhh its just to die for.

The palette retails for $72 AUD, and contains 6 matte shades, and 10 shimmer/satin finish shades, which is equivalent to $4.50 per shadow. When I first saw the price tag I was extremely hesitant, but to then find out they come down to such a small amount for such high quality, there are really no questions. I love how the shades can be used for an every day, natural eye, or to glam up your overall makeup look for a night out.

Seriously how cool are these names!!! My favorite colours so far to use are Milk Chocolate (the perfect crease shade), Salted Caramel (to blend in with milk chocolate as a transition shade), Amaretto, and of cause Candied Violet (photos really don’t do justice)

The pigment of all these shadows is so high quality, and they all feel so creamy and buttery, which is what you want to look for in an eyeshadow.

If you are a makeup beginner and considering purchasing your first eyeshadow pallet or just need some new shades in general, then I highly recommend this product. All shades are so build-able for many desired looks and I can not fault anything! Plus the product comes with a  little step-by-step tutorial booklet for some inspiration and tips!
